Warranty Statement

Our goods come with guarantees under Australian Consumer Law, offering repair or replacement for faults within the warranty period.

The guarantee that come with our goods are bound by Australian Consumer Law. Where a major failure caused by faulty materials occurring within the specification warranty period, you are entitled to a replacement. Further, if the goods are of unacceptable quality but the quality does not cause a major failure, you are entitled to a repair or replacement of the goods.

This warranty covers batteries that become unusable or unserviceable due to defects in material. This warranty covers the battery types listed below, that are sized properly and used in the application for which it was intended and charged with an approved charging profile. Proof of purchase and return of good(s) in question must accompany any request for warranty. No exceptions will be accepted.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does not apply where damage or defects to the battery are caused by the following conditions,

including without limitation:

  1. Accident, misuse, abuse, improper operation, or tampering including removal or damage to vent plugs or loss of parts.
  2. . The warranty period will be automatically adjusted to the length for commercial use if the vehicle intended to be installed is not present or cannot be inspected by a representative of an authorized dealer.
  3. Improper, insecure, or incomplete mounting.
  4. Improper installation including installation of the battery with a capacity lower than that specified by the manufacturer of the product for which the battery will be used.
  5. Misapplication including installation of a battery not compatible with its intended application or inappropriate application of the battery.
  6. Lack of reasonable care, neglect (including causing sulphation), storage for a long period without proper maintenance or failure to maintain adequate acid level (applies to accessible batteries only).
  7. Overcharging, undercharging or if it is discharged: faulty terminals caused failure.
  8. Explosion causing damage as a result of a faulty connection including wrong, loose or reversed connection or flayed cables.
  9. Any repair or modification by a third party without prior consent from Battery’s 2 Go Pty Ltd: or
  10. Any damage or defects as a result of normal wear and tear.
  11. Warranty are not covered for battery that is used in a vehicle different from the vehicle described in the vehicle information guide.
  12. Battery is used in a vehicle different from the vehicle described in the vehicle information Not covered by this warranty the labor for the removal or replacement of the battery from or into the equipment or vehicle, without prior written approval from Battery’s 2 Go Pty Ltd.

WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE

Proof of purchase is needed to claim under this warranty. You must return the battery, with proof of purchase.
